Turning Point of the Civil Rights Movement

A winning documentary viewed at the National History Day competition in Washington D.C. It tells the story of the Children's March, the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church, and the influence these events had on the faltering Civil Rights Movement in 1963. Also included are personal interviews we conducted with Barbara Cross, daughter of Reverend John Cross of the bombed church, and Clifton Casey, who demonstrated at age 16.
